Overall Citrus oils have very similar properties, some are stronger, or are more effective at relieving certain symptoms or conditions than others. De-bittering of Citrus Juice

Bitterness in Citrus juice is largely due to compounds like limonin, naringin, and hesperidin. Our fully automated De-bittering system uses a selective adsorption process to remove these bitter components while preserving the juice's natural qualities.

The main purpose of our De-bittering equipment is to:

  • Remove Limonin (Triterpene) up to 95% from the pulp.
  • Preserve the natural color, aroma, pulp, cloud, and nutritional value of the juice.

Falling Film Evaporators for Citrus Fruit Processing

Neologic Engineers’ Falling Film Evaporators are used in the processing of non-viscous products. These are the products in which the content of suspended solids is very low (usually between 2% and 4%; higher percentages will eventually be confirmed according to the results of any tests).

Advantages of Our Evaporation Systems:

  • A very short dwell time due to the small amount of product processed in each effect.
  • The dwell time is short because the falling film evaporator tubes are not full of product, so the overload volume is very low.
  • Reduced installed power due to the low product flow in the different effects.

Falling Film Evaporators generally have a multi-effect configuration. It can be mainly used for processing clear juices of various Citrus fruits, Apple, Pomegranate, Pineapple, Grape Must, and many more.

Citrus Juice Concentration, Aseptic Storage, & Freezing

Neologic Engineers provides complete solutions for Citrus juice concentration and storage, ensuring extended shelf life and quality preservation.

  • Frozen Concentrate Orange Juice (FCOJ): Can be transported in refrigerated vans and stored for longer periods in frozen drums. It’s packed in 200-250 Kg drums and stored at -18 to -20 °C.
  • Aseptic Concentrate Orange Juice (ACOJ): Stored at room temperature in aseptic bags with 2-year shelf life.
  • Not-From-Concentrate (NFC): Fresh juice suitable for local markets and exports. This type of juice that doesn't undergo the concentration process.

The concentrate is sterilized, cooled, and filled in aseptic bags ensuring microbial safety and quality.
